“I wish I could touch things and turn them to gold.” (p.11)
king Midas and the Gold
When I watched this book in the first time, I think that cover for a book is cute. So I chose this book.
This story is what made to base in Ancient Greece Fables. King Midas is real, he lived around 3000 years ago. This story is Fables and it is fiction, but the real story is included in this book. When I read this story, I thought I want to go to the place where made this story.
I thought that this story is very difficult. However, this story is very interesting.
Have you ever heard "Midas touch"? I was heard for the first time. This word is important to this story. Please try to read!
I recommend this book!
This book is in the Usborne First Reading series. It is level one, so the story is very short and it is very easy to read. I think I want to read this book for my daughter!
